Pennsylvania College of Art & Design is pleased to announce the Sacco-Warner Endowed Scholarships for the Arts. Jim Warner, former PCA&D Board Chair, and his wife, Kerry Sacco, a fine artist, established this endowed scholarship program.
Jim, the transformational former CEO of the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority, retired as PCA&D Board Chair in May 2025, concluding twelve years of impactful service to the College. Kerry’s college art practice served as a springboard for her career as a fine artist.
Jim and Kerry intended to establish an endowed scholarship program that reflected their deep-standing commitment to the College and to the arts, and to ensure perpetual benefit for PCA&D students. Specifically, the Sacco-Warner Endowed Scholarships for the Arts will be permanently endowed for the benefit of Live Experience Design and Production (Live X) and Fine Art students.
Jim and Kerry seeded the endowment, which will distribute income annually as scholarships to two students: one who has demonstrated proficiency or promise in Live X and one in the fine arts. Kerry will serve as the chair of the scholarship selection committee, which will include others with expertise in Live X and the fine arts.
Jim and Kerry committed $200,000 to launch this endowment, with an anonymous commitment of another $100,000 to raise the endowment to $300,000. PCA&D seeks to match Jim & Kerry’s contribution to bring the endowment to $500,000.
